A seven-week introduction to Neurosensory Voicework™ through guided vocal exploration, interoception and nervous-system education.
Voice as a Window into State
Observe how your nervous-system state reflects in sound, sensation, breath and rhythm.
This course offers a structured introduction to Neurosensory Voicework™, an embodied inquiry methodology that approaches interoception and nervous-system education through the physiology of vocalisation.
Over seven weeks, you'll learn how voice reflects nervous-system state and begin to recognise patterns of activation, shutdown, effort and regulation in your own experience. You'll explore why survival responses exist, how they shape expression, and why many people come to mistake chronic activation or functional freeze for their normal state.
Through guided vocal explorations, recorded teachings and live practice sessions, you'll develop a practical framework for working with these patterns—not to diagnose or fix yourself, but to cultivate greater awareness, capacity and inner safety.
An Experiential Journey Supported by a Clear Framework
Through guided vocal explorations, live practice, and recorded teachings, you'll gradually develop a deeper understanding of how your nervous system organises around safety, physiology, expression, and connection.
Together, we'll explore how voice reflects state, how survival patterns shape expression, and how regulation and capacity can be cultivated over time. The concepts are there to orient you. The learning happens through experience.

The Seven-Week Journey
Experience comes first - Understanding unfolds over time
This course is designed as a gradual journey. Through guided vocal explorations, live practice, and recorded teachings, you'll begin to notice patterns that may initially feel subtle, unfamiliar, or difficult to put into words. Rather than rushing towards answers, you'll develop the capacity to observe, explore, and make sense of your experience over time. The concepts are there to orient you. The learning happens through experience.
Week 1
Learn the foundational principles of Neurosensory Voicework as you begin exploring how voice and sensation can become pathways to greater self-awareness and connection.
Week 2
Explore how rhythm, predictability, orienting, and attunement shape nervous-system regulation and influence the way we relate to ourselves and others.
Week 3
Investigate how activation is reflected through voice and expression, and explore the relationship between emotion, vitality, intensity, and agency.
Week 4
Begin to recognise how shutdown and freeze can shape expression, and explore pathways towards greater contact, choice, and vocal freedom.
Week 5
Explore how long-standing survival patterns become normalised and begin to discover new possibilities for expression, regulation, and connection.
Week 6
Learn why regulation cannot be forced and explore practices that support greater capacity, inner safety, and trust in your body's own rhythms.
Week 7
Bring together everything you've explored over the previous weeks and develop a deeper understanding of your own voice, nervous system, and emerging capacities.
How The Course Works
Guided vocal explorations, recorded teachings, and live practice you can return to again and again.
A collection of short, meditative, guided vocal explorations (10–20 minutes), each designed around a different physiological theme. Some support settling an overactive system, others gently invite expression or help restore contact where you've become disconnected. Together, they provide a practical doorway into exploring your own physiology through sound while developing a regular practice between live sessions.
Short teaching videos that explain the 'why' behind each vocal exploration. You'll learn the principles of vocal physiology, nervous-system education, and the purpose behind each practice—so you're not just making interesting noises, but understanding what you're exploring and why.
A 90-minute guided practice where we come together to explore the work in real time. Like a yoga class for your voice, I'll guide the group through a carefully paced sequence while offering individual feedback and adjustments where possible. The sessions are playful, exploratory and relational, with plenty of space to honour your own pace.
The sessions are designed to be adaptable. You're encouraged to pause, observe, or simply listen whenever needed, learning to work with your own nervous system rather than against it. For many people, discovering when to step back rather than push through becomes an important part of the practice.
To support both learning and the safety of the group, cameras remain on throughout the live sessions. Being able to see one another creates a shared relational space and allows me to respond to participants as the practice unfolds. To protect everyone's privacy, these live practice sessions are not recorded.
Welcome Call - an introductory live session to meet one another as we embark on this seven-week journey together. We'll walk through the course structure, answer practical questions, and begin cultivating the trust, curiosity, and connection that support learning within a small, intimate group.
This work isn't only personal—it is profoundly relational. Part of the journey is allowing ourselves to be seen and heard through our voice. There is something deeply supportive about having our experience witnessed as we explore together. Although we'll be meeting online, we'll create space to share, reflect, and learn from one another's experiences along the way.
Two Live Q&A Sessions — one midway through the course and one at the end — offering space to ask questions, deepen your understanding, and reflect on your experience as your practice unfolds.
All guided vocal explorations and educational resources are yours to download and keep.
You'll have one year of access to the Foundations course platform. During that time, if Foundations is offered again, you're warmly invited to re-join the live Welcome Call, Practice Sessions, and Q&A sessions as a refresher, allowing your understanding to deepen through experience each time you revisit the work.
If, in the future, you'd like to enrol in a new Foundations cohort after your access has ended, you'll be eligible for a significantly reduced returning participant fee.
Access to the course platform and live sessions is available for one year from the date of enrolment. Downloaded resources remain yours to keep. Future live cohorts are offered at my discretion and may vary in timing, frequency, format, or availability. The returning participant fee is offered at my discretion and may be revised over time. cohorts may change.
Why This Course Exists
How years of vocal practice taught me to listen to my body—and became the foundation of Neurosensory Voicework™.
I created this course because I discovered that voice is not simply a means of expression. It's a way of listening.
We're so lost seeking outside ourselves. Looking for answers, certainty, and truth.
Through years of practice, I started to discover a level of sensation that was extremely subtle and extremely powerful. Something that had been beyond my conscious awareness, yet shaped how I moved through the world. I began to realise how spiritual my voice practice was. Not because it took me away from the body, but because it taught me to listen to it.
My background in operatic voice gave me a deep understanding of the physiology of vocalisation. Over time, I became increasingly interested not only in how the voice is produced, but in what vocal exploration reveals about physiology, sensation and nervous-system state.
Working with voice is a beautiful paradox.
We use sound to become still.
As I worked with people, this understanding deepened. I saw how quickly habitual patterns of expression emerged through the tone of people's voices. I saw how people used language to defend themselves, to avoid difficult truths, or to stay within familiar patterns. I also saw that when we changed the way we worked with sound, something else became possible.
People began to experience themselves differently.
Foundations is an invitation into the principles and practices that emerged from this work. It's a place to begin listening to yourself in a new way.
Your Invitation
A gentle invitation to begin exploring the relationship between voice, nervous-system state, and lived experience.
Foundations isn't about fixing yourself.
It's an opportunity to slow down, explore, and develop a different relationship with your voice, your physiology, and your inner experience. If you're ready to begin that journey, I'd love to welcome you.
Your voice has been with you your whole life.
Perhaps it's time to start listening.
